December 14, 1934 – April 30, 2023

John Mikita Gubersky of Lamont peacefully passed away in Two Hills, AB, on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at the age of 88 years.

John is survived by his six children, Perry (Theresa), Dennis (Donna), Wayne (Nancy), Donna (Brian), Tim (Janine) and Kevin (Shawnda); sister, Nancy; brother, Ed; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie in 2002; parents, Mikita and Mary; and brothers, Mike and Joe.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the staff at Two Hills Long Term Care, Country Garden Unit for their kind and compassionate care.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church, Star, AB (192002 TWP 564 being intersection of RR 192 and TWP 564, 2 miles east of HWY 831 on TWP 564 or 2 miles south of HWY 45 RR 192.)
