It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing our Mom, Lucy Hilker.

She passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Mom was a kind, caring and compassionate woman who loved her family deeply. She was happiest when surrounded by her family; she enjoyed gathering for dinners or getting together for tea and goodies. Lucy is survived by her two children, Greg (Nancy) Hilker and Lori (Dwayne) Twerdy; four grandchildren, Janice (Darren) Ingram, Pamela Twerdy and her partner Nathan Shaughnessy, Brett Hilker, Krysta Hilker and her partner Shea Morrell; two great-grandchildren, Alexa Ingram and Jaxon Ingram. Predeceased by her husband, Gerald Hilker (2004).

The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Capital Care Dickinsfield and Misericordia Hospital for the exceptional quality of care they provided.

Memorial service will be held at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton on Friday, September 30 at 11 a.m.

Donations in Lucy’s memory may be made to the CNIB Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice.
