The children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Mary Fermaniuk are saddened to announce her passing on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at the age of 91 years.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her son, Fred (Cindy) Fermaniuk; daughters, Linda (Ray) Shirvell, Gail (Dave) Braun, Gloria (Jim) Leach and Donna Darby (Ernie Czapp); her 15 grandchildren, Chris (Jason) Antoniuk, Lori (Jeremy) Neufeld, Brad (Dori) Shirvell, Cheryl (Mike) Gray, Michael (Katryna) and Lee (Shayna) Fermaniuk, Rob (Christina) Braun, Tim (Diane) Braun, Keri Leach, Darren Leach and Kristen Leach (Nathan Grant), Alannah Clark and Andrea Clark, Michelle Darby and Jared Darby; along with her 18 great-grandchildren, Adam, Erin, Carter, Mackenzie, Davis, Arya, Theo, Alyssa, Makayla, Zoey, Remi, Anika, Nikolai, Annabell, Savanah, Owen, Ethan, and Hayley.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Mike; daughter, Sherry; parents, Alex and Anne Lukach; brother, Andy Lukach; and sisters, Kay Van Walleghem and Anne Pawluk.

A Divine Liturgy will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 10 a.m. at the Exaltation of the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, 9003 - 153 Avenue NW, Edmonton. Reverend Janko Herbut officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Exaltation of the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, 9003 - 153 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T5E 6L4.
