Condolences

Condolence From: Scott Lang
Condolence: I wish to send my sincere condolences to Ev and Leylene and Andy's extended family.

Andy was a mentor to me . He taught me a lot about the world of buildings and about community relations. He was dedicated in delivering value and quality to the buildings that he constructed in First Nation communities throughout Alberta.

We spent hours in the field and in the office together . I enjoyed our conversations and I learned a great deal . I also adopted some of his taste in spicy food !

I am grateful from what I learned from Andy and I have done my best to pass those learnings down the line to others. Like the quality of the buildings that Andy had constructed under his influence, much of what Andy contributed will continue to serve many .

I wish all those close to Andy peace and seek the joy in the pleasant reflections at this time of personal loss.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to Ev and Leylene and the McFadden family and friends. Andy was a wonderful co-worker and mentor who had great patience in explaining the various terminology and technical design of buildings. He always had a great story to tell of his work adventures many of which were quite funny. This always made morning coffee and lunch time extremely interesting and the highlight of the work day. He will be truly missed.

Condolence: My sincerest condolences to Evelyn, Leylene and all Andy’s family and friends. I met Andy in 2004 when I joined Health Canada and Andy was a great help to me in readjusting to civilian life, the Public Service and to working with First Nations in their communities. In addition to be a great coworker he was a great friend, I regret we did not play a few more rounds or enjoy a few more dinners togeather. RIP Andy.
